Yae!!! Finally, WHQL Certified drivers that detect my AGP 6800 GS.

Seems like I got 45 more points on 3dmark 2003.

Feels good to be off beta drivers. Although, I did end up forcing forceware on my XP to use the other 84.12 drivers. :lol:

Got tired of seeing... Nvidia (Unknown) :cry:

I loaded them this afternoon ... wanted to get WHQL drivers to replace 84.12 beta although those were quite stable and seemingly problem free.

So far, so good with 84.21.

The 84.2x Drivers Has Awesome Performance Acceleration IN F.E.A.R. When You Use AA (AntiAliasing) , I Got 99 Frame With 81.95 When Using F.E.A.R. Benchmark in MaxDetail +4xAA+16xAF , Now With 84.20 Beta Driver I Got 120Frame In The Same Details , Its Awesome , Isnt It ?

Hey Why Is it that When I Downloaded. Forceware 84.21. It Downloaded, But during the Installiation it Popped a Messaage Saying: This Forceware Does'nt Supprot Your Current Graphic Card. GeForce2 MX/MX400?? Anyone Know If They have Stopped Supporting Cards Under GeForce3?

And I Already Have Forceware 81.98. But the new Update 84.21 isn't being accepted.

according to that list, they're not certified for the geforce 2 cards, so maybe that's the problem? XP is set to silently not install unsigned drivers? just a thought mind...

Oh, Ok i saw The problem. Some of my Anti-spyware software was Refusing to Identify my Card And Drivers to my new Forceware Drivers. And i did follow all its instructions and also i uninstalled my old Forceware drivers right Before. Still did the samething but after i Task Disabled my Anti-spyware softwares. It then Worked. Ok thanks For the Help eventhough most of it i had figure out.

True that, I've tested it as well. Got FEAR settings to maximum settings and resolution to 1280x960 and I got this.

Minimum = 34

Average = 83

Maximum = 208

It's amazing my average went up like crazy. The old driver usually give me the average of 50fps or lower. But having increas to over 80fps that's just amazing!!!!!

Still, I can't resolve my problems of the temps display and still has no sign of it.

Anyone having the same problem with the temp display?????

100(?cant remember)
hope this effects my 6800(12p,6v).
my proc is being hella weird though, i get a ton of errors when i clock it down to its original speed(2.0Ghz 200x10 bus) like i cant do anything it bsods, but when i clock it to 2.5Ghz(250x10 stock voltage) its perfectly stable. i do not understand this at all, unless i really did get a higher rated proc than the 3200? Peace.

I've tested them for 4 days now on my GT, although F.E.A.R. has improved other things have suffered. I went from an average of 5986 in 05 mark to a low of 5089, couldn't overclock my core past 442 and complete the run. Can't comment on temps cause my system is "wet".
Don't expect much if anything from a 6 series card, we're an afterthought, the 8x.xx drivers I think are for the Geforce 7 series. That's what it seems to my rig anyway, you may get something different.
It hurt some other games I play so I had to remove them, the improvement in F.E.A.R. just isn't enough for me to keep them.

In general, once your card is more than 2 generations old, newer drivers rarely will help, and will sometimes even hinder. I know that previous drivers didn't work well in Windows 2000 with the Riva TNT card I had (It was a test box).

I'll toy with the new drivers tomorow. Need to finish benchmarking my system.

Bah, and I just got done testing them :(

(Got about 100 points more in 3dmark05 and 06, and fixed an IQ issue in 06)

Edit: Nope, still the top drivers on Nvidia's site.
