I wonder if you can help me.
I have a HP iPAQ which I am synchronising with Outlook but I have a bit of a
problem which I do not know how to fix.
I have a database in Access which I have imported to Outlook. All the data
is there in the correct fields.
When I connect my iPAQ to the PC it starts the synchronisation and downloads
the data from Outlook to my iPAQ.
However, there are some fields that are missing in the iPAQ that are present
in Outlook. For example the web page address field has data in it inside
Outlook but when the synchronisation has finished the web page address field
is empty in my iPAQ.
Is there somewhere that I can specify what fields to synchronise to my iPAQ?
Has anyone else experienced this?
Any idea's how I can force it to copy all the fields used in Outlook to my
iPAQ?

Hello Neil,
Try this -- Open the contact whose web page address is not available in the
PPC and do edit operation (add one character and then delete this
character). Save and Close the contact information and synchronize. If my
guess is right, you should now be able to view the web address field.
There is no way to specify which fields need to synchronized while using
ActiveSync. The fields that are available on the PPC is all you will be
able to sync from your desktop. If you want to more control over the fields
that are to be mapped with the Pocket PC, then you should check out
Intellisync or Pocket On Schedule --

Hi all
I'm getting confused with my iPaq hx4700. I am trying to update my contacts
I've entered into Outlook 2002 on my computer. However when I synchronise he
iPaq and my PC, contacts and calendar are shown as not installed, and I can't
enter settings.
I first installed software for my iPaq on my work computer and it seems to
be OK there, although we don't use Outlook at work, so could it be that I
chose the option for synching with only one computer? I can't even work out
how to change this.
I tried a hard reset to no avail. I am sure there is a simple option, but
what is it!?!?
Anyway, if anyone can help me out and/or give me suggestions, this would be
great as it's really doing my head in!
