ASROCK K8NF4G- SATA2 probs

I go to turn on the system and the leds light up the fans kinda pulse and then nothing the hdd and the cd/dvd roms don't spin up?

i tried switching the psu and both have the same result?

A64 3200+
1gig of corsair xms
40gig wd
400w generic (okai is the name brand on it)/ and a 350w generic AGI it the other

foxxconn tla case

any help would be great thanks

ps this is like my 9th system i have built never had a prob like this before

Either something is hooked up wrong or the board is not getting enough power. What board do you have?

I had the exact same problem with my DFI SLI board i'm using now and it turns out, I had an 'extra' 4 pin power cable hooked up to the board when I should not have. Go over the entire board and make sure you have all connections hooked up including the 4 pin power connector.
