Question about a mem upgrade for my mobo

My mobo is listed in sig and it only has 3 memory slots. Currently I have 2x512mb sticks. Am I right to assume that adding a 1gb stick would not cause any probs since my CPU is s754? s754 doesnt support dual-channel so the sticks dont have to be same size correct?

Check your manual for memory configuration. You may want to put the 1 gig stick in slot 1. Also, some boards will only run at 333 speed with all 3 slots filled.

It recommends running at 333 if all 3 slots have double sided dimms, where can I find out if what I have is double sided?
