Successful OC & UV for my opty 165

I'm excited I got a good OC with my opty 165.
It's running at 2.4GHz with only 1.225V
This is great because it's my HTPC and I want low temps/noise.
At full load it's only making 40C (idling at 31C).
Right now it's dual sp2004 stable for over 12hrs, here's a screenie just after the 6hr mark

This is on the ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 with a Big Typhoon and AS5

That's pretty wicked you got 1.225v @ 2.4GHz. I use stock 1.328v and get 2.5GHz out of it, mine stays 21c idle and 31c load, but I have extreme cooling .

That a great OC man. I've got mine curenntly at a 10% OC on a A8N-E w/ stock cooling. I'm tempted to try out my Zalman on it to see if i can get it higher.

Yeah not bad, mine is running at 2.25ghz with 1.472 volts on avg. Pretty low volatge for you. My max stable so far has been about 2.7-2.75..... But that is over 1.5 volts so I lowered it for cooler operation. I use the SI-120 and it does a damn good job keeping it cool. mid 40's under load. But I also have C&C enables so it is cool at idle. It has not caused any insability yet so I guess I will leave it on.

Great job! I bought an Opty 144 and have it at 2.25 Ghz at default voltage with a Thermaltake HS and fan. I just received a new MB and am going to try higher.
