You mean the CIA? I thought Bush massively increased their budget in recent years...

Grow up....& Tony Blair sleeps in the same bed bud....Or are you a Brit that believes the U.K. is a U.S. puppet state?

Reply to AilingBlackLab

Grow up?

History lesson:
Osama Bin Laden was trained and funded by the CIA.
Saddam Hussein was actively supported by the USA and Britain during the Iran-Iraq war.
Israel developed nuclear weapons with US support.

Or are you an American who think that your foreign policy has any purpose other than to serve the US's (current) interests?

And for the record, yes I know that Tony Blair is a complete c*nt. That's why I didn't vote for him. Not sure how that makes the US any less culpable for it's miriad of foreign policy howlers.

None of which can be attributed to the "George W. Bush" administration...
Don't blame the man for the folley of his predecessors.

Errr, I wasn't trying to blame Bush for anything. Paranoia on your part, perhaps?

My original comment was in response to your statement that "they are running out of people and money" (sic.)

My attempt to be humourous was the suggestion that the CIA organised Al Qaeda and that they are actually increasing in numbers and funds.

It's less funny when you have to explain it.

But if you want to talk about folly, perhaps you can explain where those weapons of mass destruction in Iraq were? Or why the "democracy" you've given the country looks to me rather like civil war?
Or why the US deposed the evil Taleban government in Afghanistan to replace it with, er, warlords, drugs barons and - guess what - Taleban guerillas.
In the meantime, North Korea happily tests it missiles and threatens it's neighbours with barely a raised eyebrow from good ol' Dubya.

How do you intend to absolve Bush of those little bloopers?

Actually, let's not do the politics thing. It seems far to grown-up for the "other".

Let's feed the Wingy instead...

Here, Wingy, Wingy...

Have you seen Lord of War yet? That movie goes through and shows the politics and how it works.

Maybe I funded both sides because I didn't want either side to win..
I funded the side I wanted to win.
The US can't give weapons to this bad nation but they want that bad nation to beat this nation because it's worse. That's where I come in, I give weapons to the nations that the US can't give weapons.

Damn good movie.

Skeleton Key was a good movie.. kind of odd how it worked out, nice twist. Rare to see a movie end like that eh?

I'm getting cable finally hooked up Thursday.. I've been renting probably 4 movies a month.

No cable. I get my movies for free from the public library.

Say if I make "backup" copies of movies from the public library.......
