I just got 2 gigabyte dual socket 940 opteron server mobo's (NIB) for $200 cash yesterday! And I don't know just yet what to do with them...was thinking about starting a gameing server service or something but I know nothing about any of it! I would like some links, books or advice on how to start something like this. I'm a noob to servers ( yes I can build it ) but how to run them is another beast in itself.

I'm not all that wholly familiar with AMDs server chips man. I'm sure someone from the AMD camp can help you out better than I can. Good luck with that setup! You've made me jealous! LOL
