Speakers buzz occasionally... Starting to burn out?

Wow, I've been having a lot of trouble recently, haven't I?

Anyway, I've noticed my speakers make a sound often now- a sort of buzz I suppose, and coming from the left one, not the right. Now, these are a pair of cheapo speakers, and have another pair that's probably better stuffed in a closet, so this loss isn't a big deal. But I wonder, are they starting to burn out? Can speakers burn out like this?

If so, I'm not surprised, what with how loudly my brother plays his music on these poor things.

Burn out? Wire contacts can certainly loosen and buzz intermittenly I suppose. Maybe it is "burnt out", who knows. It's possible something is dead/dying. If it costs you nothing and it annoys you, or heck, even if it doesn't, shouldn't you be using the pair thats "better" anyway? Why is that one stuffed in the closet?

What kind of speakers are they? Like the cheap ones with built in amp?
