I have 2 STAR TSP 200F and 1 TSP2000 (auto-cut,2color) printers. It's
connected to 1 build-in (LPT1) port and 2 parallel printer ports using
a PCI add-on card from SUNIX. The card is recognised through the
command line PCIDOS /AUTO in the Autoexec.bat. When I connect any of
the mentioned printers to the add-on pci printer card the printer
turns itself in to offline and when unplug it, it will turn back to to
online. This does not happen with LPT1. I tried to connect some normal
printers (HP 560C, 960C and Star 24 pin Matrix printer) and it works
fine. MSD in DOS it confirms 3 LPT ports. I have another network
working with the same printers connected to an ISA add-on card and it
shows no problem. Why can't these printers work with PCI add-on cards?

I have no ISA ports on my new computer. The OS is DOS.
