IPaq 3630 digitizer replacement?

My Ipaq 3630 has developed the quirky jumpy keyboard/diagonal line problem
in the lower left corner of the screen (where the keypad appears so when I
hit d I get 6 or 7, f gets me 8 or 9 etc) It generally figures out my
handwriting, but always starts with a scratch if I am in the lower-case area
toward the left. I can buy a replacement digitizer for about $50 or less,
but was wondering how hard they were to replace? Has anyone on here done
this? I am handy with electronics, just never torn apart an Ipaq and was
curious if the digitizer was glued to the display or such so that it would
be hard to get out and back in with the new one. Thanks in advance!

I also have a digitizer problem with my 1945. Essentially it's
supposed to be a very delicate operation and not recommended for the
casual enthusiast. Here's a response that I received from Pockettechs:

Hi Mark,

We don't sell the part out since it's extremely fragile and due to contract
restraints.

We can do the repair here for you.

Thanks,
