Hi, can you help me out and post your 3DMark05 scores here so i can compare with mine. Prefrebly scores from systems similar to my set up.
Thanks. My Score was 8052. Also is my score normal for my system?

Mine is 10042 in SLI mode of course! Although I haven't oc my cards and ram yet. Plus I could use some water cooling to get higher performance. But for now, no games can shake my rig, so I'm happy with it.

My Score was 11457 with the machine listed in my sig, with no overclocking. The 7800GT's come overclocked from eVGA though.

I'm ordering one on Thursday to play with. Also planning on picking up a 7900GT once they come back in stock on newegg.

3dmark really dont impress me, I like fps in game vs 3dmarks. Like fear runs far better on my x1900xtx vs the 2 7800's. How much did your cards cost?

Considering I had them months before your card was out, and the fact they were about the same price as your single card; I'm satisfied.
What's your average framerate on 1280x1024 with 4XAA and 16XAF? I only got an average of 74FPS, but I have the ability to watch live T.V. and play games without any slowdown.

Your score is pretty decent for a single graphics card although you can probably get it a bit higher with some overclocking. As someone above notes you can get the whole world's scores on the 3DMark project site.

My first run came in at around 7300-7400 with no overclocking.

Currently running with a 250 GB WD IDE Hard Drive as

Managed to push it up to 8000-8100 with about 6% overclocking on the processor and around 476/1.17 on the GPU but with less than optimal memory timings.

The score is a combination of CPU and GPU performance so not entirely dependent on you GPU. Its a good tool to find out what works and what doesn't but at the end of the day if your system plays games okay then who cares - you'll always find someone who's scoring higher or has more moolah to spend chasing every last bit of performance and scores on 3DMark may not translate directly to actual gaming performance as different games respond differently depending on your combination of CPU & GPU.

How I'd love to overclock my CPU to improve my lousy 3DMark scores. But I have a crappy proprietary HP motherboard , so there's no chance of that. I have my x600 overclocked to the max (561/310 MHz core/memory) with the stock cooler and no (!) VRAM heatsinks. I'm going to buy a new cooler and some copper heatsinks and overclock it till it explodes .
