Hi all, I'm a rookie in overclocking. I certainly would need assistance. Just recently build:
Lanparty nf4 expert
amd 3700+
7900 gt (bfg)
Blue Orb cpu fan
Tide water (thermaltake) for gpu
The reason I got 3700+ because of the PRICE and a good overclockable cpu according to a lot of reviews and forums. I played around with the genie bios by increasing fsb. The most that I did without hassle is only 225 with x11.
How do I efficiently overclock this set-up?
Do I have to increase the voltage(s) as I increase fsb or increase any other setup?
How do I increase voltages or other setup? I have no idea. Please if you have time, any assistance would be appreciated. thanks

225 x 11 on stock voltage? Nice... Now, to get the fsb higher without losing stability. OCing is a slow process, one which requires using programs like Prime95 to test the current settings for at least a few hours in order to see whether the system is stable or not. A good pointer for A64 OCing is this guide. Be sure to read it thoroughly, since it covers both CPU OCing and Memory OCing, basically everything you need to do in order to tweak the pc into its optimum OC.
