i was just wandering, whats the difference between workstation and normal gfx card?

can anyone compare geforce to a quadro?

The main reason the different types are good for 1 and bad for the other, is because of the drivers for Quadro. Some people may say "It's all in the architecture" but that's not 100% true, alot of what makes a Quadro beat any GeForce in Rendering, is the driver used.
