I recently found a very detailed article about setting the fs9.ini
configuration file. One setting would control whether fs9 would depict
actual structural damage to crashed planes.
Does anybody know where I may have seen that article? For some reason, I
think the author may have been Katy Pluta?
As the article says, crash damage isn't in FS9.ini. You need to add a line
to each aircraft in each aircraft.cfg file.

I wrote the FAQ that is at simflight.com a while ago and it is free to
reproduce and complete anywhere, so can't really help with any link...
BTW the structural damage parameter toggle is in the aircraft config
file, and the 3D model of the aircraft needs to have a damage model
and its associated effects if you want to see some. Now the usual
question: why do you want to see damage? :-) I switch to CFS for
that...

Thank you, Harmless for the quick reply. While this wasn't the article I
was refering to, it is helpful. I think what I was viewing online was a
complete description of all fs9.cfg settings.

Thank you Katy for your reply. Do you remember the name of the article, or
some other way to identify what I saw and you wrote about??
Thank you in advance for your help. I'm looking forward to reading that
article again.
