Cinematics Glich

I have posted this already. I was told it was memory corruption. It happens during Cinematics at beginning of games and throughout. I'm not clear on how to resovle this. All games have latest patches, and whatnot.

Green dots appear on the screen scattered. Games run fine, but get this glich. Have any sugs?

Nah I have latest drivers. 71.89 or whatever it is for the video card. the mobo has the 1.09 instead of the 1.11 which I was told that 1.09 has better performance for some reason. Anything else???

I have a 9800xt and have that exact same problem. Nothing else is affected except for in game bink cinematics. I just learned to live with it seeing as for me it's not all that intrusive.

Well that's good to hear....atleast it isn't something critical like I thought. Well I guess I'll have to live with it also then....lol. Kinda sucks though....I like having things flawless, but where would you find that at?? lol

Try the Microsoft Nvidia driver. You can download it off Windows Update.

I've been hearing a lot of people say it fixes a lot of problems. It's an older driver, but it works. No harm in testing that out in the least..

I dont think it's a driver problem cos I have it on my 9800xt and it's been with me through many different driver versions and reinstallations of windows.

It only appears in game cinematics mainly in bink videos, NOTHING else is affected. It's basically a green corrupted spot (small spot) that appears in random places on the screen. I personally don't get bothered by it but it is interesting to hear others with the same prob.

Probably better to post this query up in the graphics forum tho.
