want to put windows 7 in my hp vectra vl 420 mt. windows 7 ultimate says it is not compatable oh what to do???

The maximum memory that can be installed on this computer is 1.5 GB, and Win 7 requires a minimum of 2 GB of memory for basic features (more RAM required to access additional features). This is controlled by the motherboard.

Consider a new computer capable of Win 7 (Win 8 coming out in 2012).
