I don't know what happened, but when I first installed windows that little icon in the taskbar notification area didn't appear.
now after several updates my hard drive somehow wants to be safely removed.
is this something bad, or wrong. can I get rid of it?
If it is a sata II drive they are hot plugable which is why it is showing as a removable drive. It will appear once the nvidia chipset drivers are installed. There is nothing wrong with it, just means you can pull the blighter out on the fly so to speak, not recomended if its your os drive though
