My computer is set to accept persistent cookies but it is not consistent.

When I first bootup it is always OK but later, if I go back to the same site
during the same browsing session, I get the message "To access this site
your browser must be set up to accept persistent cookies". I can sometimes
go back again to the same site and it is OK again.

I've tried playing about with various settings but it remains inconsistent.

Advice much appreciated.

Regards
Joe Steele

Many thanks for the reply Andrew. Unfortunately, it doesn't work.

I wonder if it can be related to an Internet Explorer Script Error that
occasional occurs when I am using Help and Support. I have found that
cookie problem is always present after one of these errors.

The error reads "'xmldoc.documentElement' is null or not an object"

The URL is "ms-its:C:\WINDOWS\Help\HSChelp.chm::/hsc_autoupdate-restore.htm"

But I have no idea how to use this info. Have tried Google but just more
confused now.
