my new system

opteron 165
2g ram
7900gt
dfi lanpart ultra
and I wanted to use this monitor. Is it ok?...I want everything to look good and also wanting to know how long this system will last?

Wow...a little too much information. Yes, pretty much ANY CRT is good, but if you want the best image, grab a 19" LCD.

A good while* for the computer and a much longer* time for the monitor.


*as long as you do not conitunally abuse you hardware :wink:

LCD are taking less room space, but are not better than the old CRT.

This is a CRT monitor NOT LCD

I would have to agree, crt is the way to go especially for gaming better picture and cheaper and don't have to worry about refresh time
!
