Before anyone says anything, no I'm not going to upgrade to PCI-e on this rig because I'd have to get a new processor too, and I don't want to have to reinstall windows and risk losing all of my files.

Anyways, the BFG has a 400Mhz clock while the XFX has a 440Mhz. I thought about the EVGA Superclocked one, but everyone has had problems with that, so I'll stay away from it.

Which one do you think is better?

If the 512mb Gainward card ever comes out in the US, i'd probably go for that one, but who knows.

XFX 7800GS Extreme Edition is The Best AGP Card on The Planet , But I Think You Should Stick With Your ATI X850 XT PE

Is it THAT much better than the BFG? I was reading the reviews on Newegg.com and the BFG had the fewest complaints. I actually just sold my x850xt PE, so I'm looking for a 7800GS.

Yes Friend , The XFX 7800GS Extreme Edition Is Clocked Very High ... But I Must Tell You That You Might See Performance Decrease From X850 XT PE To 7800GS ...

Decrease only in certain games, like maybe FEAR. That's what the reviews have said. Even Tom's Hardware says the 7800GS is better than the x850xt pe. Plus, it has SM 3.0. :p

Agreeing with XFX. Btw... why would you need a new processor? They make PCI-e boards for socket 754.

Yeah I saw that, but most of the "good" ones only have 2 slots for RAM.
