So where EXACTLY do you put the leads for your digital temperature readous?

I got two of them and would like your oppinions on where to put them.

My X-Navigator came w/ 2 temp probes, one was labeled CPU and HDD so I put one on top of my CPU heatsink (close to the base as possible) and the other to the side of my HDD (part was exposed nearest the power connector, looked good enuf <shrug> ).

I suppose I could have left the HDD one dangling for an ambient case temp (was thinking to zip tie it off to the PS, about 2" from the sensor and it would have been hanging just above the cpu) or to my GPU heasink or whatever.

There really is no wrong place, but there are "optimal" ones. Depends on what you want monitored...
