That is a budget chip. Not good for a gamer, it will be very limited for most games. What type of games do you like playing?

What country do you live in?

If U.S.A. try newegg, laptops.

Have a look through what's there, best I could see is this,

There might be other things you need in a laptop computer, also consider what other needs that you might have for future use.

Also a good refurbished one might be thought.

Problems of any sort, I personally have needed to replace 2 hard drives in my computer a few years back. It's easier to just go locally to do that than have to send it away, or even overseas, to get anything fixed. Unforeseen problems is all I meant, that's why I mentioned it. Pleanty of people have no problems, I just seam to get too many sometimes.

Really is best to get a laptop with as powerful a GPU as you can for playing intensive games.

i see what you mean...

this acer laptop has an international warraty.so i can repaire it in Belgium.i checked it.

http://global.acer.com/support/itw_location.htm

i've got a limited budget for a new laptop.usualy, i play with my pc.but now, i need a notebook.i've never play a game with high detailes and resolutions.

now, i've got a ge-force fx5600xt 256mb in my computer.with this card, i play Battlefield 2(800*600) with medium/low detailes and without problem.with 1024*768, i must wait for start to game.

i also play Age of Empires 3 with low/medium detailes...

so i think that x1400 128 mb will be better then ge-force fx5600XT.

my favorite games are, BF2, Pro Ev. Soc.(PES) 5, Age of... series, GTA series, Mafia...so i don't need a great graphic card.

But if you can give some other exemples, with great graphic cards, i'll have a look.

See what other people or shops have and it you can test use one, see how it is personally, if you haven't done that already.

Get the best you can afford at the time.

Ok the 7300 is just like the 7400 Go only 50 mhz slower and less ram. If you read my post awhile back about the 7400 you'd know the approximate performance of it. My 7400 Go can do Civ 4 at 1680 x 1050 at high res but no AA. Also it can do UT2004 at full, and Doom3 at 1280x1024 at high.

AA is anti-aliasing, it reduces jagged lines when trying to draw circular objects. I got a really nice HP with a core duo for 1600. Here are the specs on the one I got:

2.0ghz core duo 667bus
1GB ram 5-5-5-11 timings
Geforce 7400 Go
100 GB harddrive @ 7200 RPM (I got it for faster load times)
17in widescreen native resolution is 1680 x 1050
some ok dvd-combo drive

also it has wireless a/b/g and a wired gigabit port on it. Overall it is a very nice and reliable laptop. I've had it for a week now. The only con that I can think of is that it really isn't a laptop as much as a desktop replacement. The thing is huge. But if you don't mind size, its a great thing.
