Yep, simple question. How do I format a second hard drive without installing windows on it? I'm on XP, btw. Thanks in advance.

Once you physically install the drive, find the new drive on My Computer, right click find format. Pretty simple, unless I'm wrong.

install the hdd and config the bios to boot off the correct hdd

in windows right click my computer and click manage, then disk management and in there should be a new and empty hdd, initialise and create patitons, format and use!

use the force! (google)
