Hi Folks,
I'm back with another problem. Running a P3 about 5 years old with WXP. It has two disc players...one labeled CD the other labeled DVD. Neither will play a disc. The DVD "growls and grinds" when attemptin to run...the CD player does nothing.
Here's my dilemma: I know I can replace one or both of them and will but...I'm about to build my own system so I'd like to buy a new all in one player that I can transfer to my new sys. Would one of these fit my current sys. ? and what do you think about getting a 10000rpm as opposed to my current 7200(I think)
Well, there it is...waddaya think?
Thanks for your response.

All internal DVD burners are physically the same size as far as I know so it should fit into you new sys. NEC and Lite-On make good DVD burners and they run about $40 at newegg. You can pay a lot more but not sure it's worth it. I've used Lite-Ons for years and currently using a NEC3500, which works fine and I use pretty (really?) cheap media.
