Hi, I just want to vent my frustrations as I am so pissed off at this guy right now! I put my Xbox 360 on Ebay because of how bad my PC kills it I decided I didnt need it. Well I had a positive buyer who was gonna come and pick it up so I would not have to ship it. At the last second some noob guy to Ebay slips in and wins the bid!!!! He has no user history at all and now the FUKING SOB will not answere my Emails and he has yet to pay.

Is there anything that can be done to collect my funds short of complaining to Ebay who Im sure will not do jack SH1T!!!!!!!!!!

I would refer you to the all knowing SoD..

But I'd just do the Second Chance offer thing and sell it to the other guy.

And now, for your welcoming I'll leave it to the Pros.

Yes, tell the n00b to fcuk off 'cos he hasn't paid, then do a second chance offer to the guy who you'd previously arranged it with. Once that's all tickety-boo drop a shitload of negative feedback all over the n00b, maybe ring him in the middle of the night and go...

TIME TO DIE!!!!

Ok I did the second chance offer so we will see what happens. As for the negative feedback I would love to do that but as of right now I only have positive feedback and im afraid the little CUNT might do the same to me.

If you've followed procedure correctly, then he won't have a leg to stand on. I normally say the item is to be paid for within 2 days of the auction finishing. If he hasn't met your criteria, then you are perfectly entitled to leave feedback accordingly. If he does it to you, then you have right to reply.

My guess is though that he won't bother. Cross that bridge when you come to it.

Reply to RobD

He has a legal obligiation to pay up if you choose to force him.

However, if he's got no feedback you might have just been done by a prankster - meaning ebay won't be able to track him down as his registration details will be false.

Your best bet is to sell to the other guy via second chance, and report the first to ebay.
Also, leave him some negative feedback making it clear that you gave him a chance. When it happened to me, I left "Non-paying bidder. Refused to answer emails or phone calls". The bidder never left me any feedback and finally got booted by ebay.

Well I actually managed to get his contact info and called his house. I left him a message on his voice mail and he finally emailed me back saying he was sorry for not answering any of my emails and that he hoped nothing was hindered but he didnt FUK1N say if and when he was gonna pay?! WTF !!!!!!?

I had a non-paying bidder about 2 weeks ago. 6hrs after the auction closes, the asshat calls my cell phone at 5:55AM and says he doesn't want the RAM because he wouldn't get the RAM until Monday. WAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

I just did a 2nd chance and got it squared away. Anyways, I filed a non-paying bidder complaint w/ eBay. Didn't leave feedback yet. Like u said earlier, I don't want to get negative feedback either.

I looked at this feedback and he has several "neutrals" recently.

To both of you bitches...

"WA WA WA, I don't want negative feedback! My eBay rating is more important than trying to protect other people!"

Go take the skirt off and act like a man. Document what happens, and let everyone else know. What good is feedback if you won't give you negative feedback for fear of possibly getting negative feedback back?

Where you been Jesse? Kinda quiet out here without you...

edit for spelling.

Pretty much no.

If they have fake contact info feedback is completely removed.
Just do a reverse lookup and if it's diff.

File a non-payment claim to get ebay fees reversed.
If they don't reply, they still get to leave feedback, but it doesn't affect your score. Which is still BS.

And if they do reply, they can leave feedback with a neg score.
So anyone can really just make a 2nd account to do this.

I would threaten reporting thier debt to the 3 credit bureas and sueing them!

You can get any feedback removed with a court order, I'm looking into that.

Otherwise they just give that stupid square trade crap option.

Ebay and paypal could care less about sellers.

Reply to PC_God

In the UK, you could force eBay to remove feedback under the Data Protection Act. If you can prove the feedback is untrue, it is a criminal offence for eBay to not remove it.

Iwonder if anyone's ever tried this? :D

Thanks for the info guys. If I dont hear from him today I will call him again tommorow and leave him a nice V message about credit bureas and taking him to small claims court.

Reply to RobsX2

Remember that if the court enforces the auction and forces him to pay up, then you have to provide him with the XBox. So don't sell it to someone else in the meantime!

I have actually relisted the item with a buy it now price because I doubt he will ever pay at this point. Im not really going to take this to court as its not worth it, however I am going to scare the living crap out of him and make him think that he is really in trouble.

All im really gonna do is report him to ebay as a non payer bidder and leave him negative feedback.

He will think twice before he screws anyone again.

Reply to RobsX2

What are you gonna do if he pays up now though? If you've sold the XBox to someone else YOU could get in trouble.

If someone else buys the thing, make sure to contact the original "buyer" immediately to tell him that he's missed out.

I just ended the listing as the ebay NOOB just emailed me and told me he was gonna pay with E Check through paypal  He told me he wants to know if anything is wrong with the system before he buys it and I clearly stated in my sale that it was in new condition and perfect working order

I still have my doubts about getting payment as this guys elevator does not seem to go to the top floor.

Reply to RobsX2

Give him a week. if he can't manage to sort out payment by them, tell him to forget it and relist it.

This is why selling on eBay can be a right pain.

Well I be darned if he didnt just pay with E check! LOL! Now I just have to wait for payment to clear before I can ship it.

Anyone know if E check carries a fraud risk???

Reply to RobsX2

Second lesson learned: don't accept payment by methods you aren't familiar with!

I have accepted E check in the past with zero issues. I was just curiouse if their is an increase in fraud with it?

Reply to RobsX2

Make sure you have cash in hand before shipping. My wife sells on ebay.(mostly during christmas.)
She has had a few people pay by Echeck. Then close their account before the check clears. It takes anywhere from 9-17 days for a check to make its rounds through the bank system.
So definately make sure the Echeck clears before shipping.

Yeah ok bud whatever. I have done over 50 transactions on Ebay both buying and selling and this is the first time I have ever had to stay on someone to pay up.

Most of the time if your careful and read the user reviews you will do fine.

Just got me a bran new unopened copy of PREY for 29.00 and free shipping. Cant beat that

Oh do shut up with your delusional obsessive witterings. The reason you don't use Ebay is because you're too fucking stupid to understand the rules. If you want, I'll get my cat to explain it to you, although even that may go over your head. There's more intelligent plankton out there than you.

So, why post here? You can't offer any help to the OP, and it's not as if we enjoy your company or respect your opinions.

eBay isn't a program. It's a website. It does store some info in a cookie (login details for example), but you can always turn that off if you're paranoid or use a shared PC.

Quote :

What are you on about this time? Really, I don't understand what you're trying to say.

What did you lose? Unless it's obvious otherwise, using a pronoun normally refers to the last noun. So you're saying you lost a trojan program? Do you even understand what you're typing? :?

How can a membership be "tall"? :?

Quote :

Amazingly enough, millions of eBay transaction take place each day, and the vast majority are honest transactions. If you're careful and follow the rules, then it's perfectly safe, and you're protected against fraud.

However, you are a complete retard and would probably be scammed on your first deal. But then, you're probably used to being a victim already - that's why they don't let you out of "The Centre" without a carer.

And in future, please proof-read your posts before sending them. Your reputation here is already pretty low, and it's never going to improve if you can't even express yourself clearly.

Better yet, don't post anything at all. It'd save the rest of us trying to teach you how to speak/write English.
