Safe 7800 GTX Temp. 450/1250

What's a safe running temp on a xfx 7800 GTX 450/1250 Stock.
I've heard these card are sorta made to run warmer than others? I want to overclock this but i'm not aware of temps to look out for.
Atm i run bf2 and my card hit's around 81.C. Is this normal?

i had a bfg geforce 7800GTX OC running at 505 MHz / 1335 MHz and the idle temps were 59-61C and after serious use going up to the low 70's. i had tested this card for two weeks as it passed thru here.

also, in the same box i had evga's 7800 gtx KO ASC at 515 MHz / 1360 MHz until i traded it up. it idled right about 58C and did get up to the high 70's sometimes.

as an aside, i put in a vantec tornado case fan (and controller) for overall case cooling and the card temps dropped substantially, about 8C.

also you notice the gpu threshold temp is at 115C i believe. not that you ever want to reach it.
