my XFX 6800 GS EE agp

i have had this card for a few months now, and ever since i installed the first drivers it has told me its a 6800 GT now i know it isn't a 6800 GT, (tho i wish it was) does it thinking its a 6800 GT really make any difference? i have tried all of the latest nvidia drivers and every time it comes up with 6800 GT. I have tried drivers from XFX and the same has happened.

Well, if its NV40, and an "EE" edition (which I've never heard of in a 6800GS, silly me) Possible to have all the pipes active (16 total)

Download RivaTuner and find out. Other than that, I cant see why
the 6800GT BIOS would be used for the GS.

I have got rivatuner it tells me its a 12, 5vp, tho i unlocked mine to a 12, 6vp

The "EE" is just XFX's Extreme Edition of the card

Possible it carries the 6800GT BIOS (opposed to standard 6800 or GS)
to support the high(er) core and mem frequencies. (Hiher Vcore)
