Asrock 939 Dual SATAII 4xAGP problem

Hi. I've just got a new Asrock Dual SATAII motherboard and I've installed my trusty Gigabyte 6600GT 128mb AGP card. Everything's working fine apart from every utility I try reports that's it's only running at 4xAGP. It's set to 8x in the BIOS. Don't know what else I should be doing.

Any thoughts?

Maybe the ULI integrated drivers are not installed.. but anyway, 8x AGP was bandwidth wasted and 4X is plenty sufficient anyway...

Turned out to be a school boy driver issue. All better now.

8x made a huge difference to oblivion though. Went from bloom to HDR + distant land (in most places).

more than a driver issue than the AGP speed...
