Hitachi DZ-MV730a Camcorder to Computer Question

Hi, I wasn't sure which forum this applied to, so I apologized if it's in the wrong one.
My girlfriend needs to do a project for school with the camcorder and digitally edit the video. I found that her camcorder doesn't have a USB interface on it, but it does have an "S Video and composite output" on it, as per Hitachi's website (http://www.hitachi.us/tv/browse/camcorders/dvd/DZMV730A.shtml). My question is how can we get the video feed from the camcorder to the computer and make it available for editing?

Then it is not a digital camcorder...
Use a capture card like ATI and save the video through SVideo connectors.

I have two camcorders, one digital and one analog. I have this nifty little item which comes in handy all the time. I don't know what your budget is but find something like this and it should work for you. I also found this at Radio Shack and Best Buy. I don't know what's in your area but, you should be able to find something similar. Good luck

Are you referring to a video card that has an SVideo input on it? Or a PCI card that I'd buy, put in, and it'd do something like the Dazzle product that Luminaris put a link up to?
