Greetings all!
Occasionally, say once every ten bootups, I am greeted with the BSOD, (blue screen of death), and the following error message:
WINDOWS
Terminating thread due to a stack overflow problem. A VxD, possibly recently installed, has consumed too much stack space. Increase the setting of 'MinSPs' in SYSTEM.INI or remove recently installed VxD's. There are currently 6 SPs allocated.
Press any key to continue

What are VxD's? Should I increase the setting of 'MinSPs' per the error message? Any input appreciated!

Thanks!

When did this start? Try uninstalling and reinstalling some of the most recently installed software. Hopefully that won't be too many programs...

I had the same trouble with my Dell Laptop. Try to increase the value for MinSP(see under [386enh]) in your system.ini file to 8 and restart.
