I've now built a computer that lets me fly with all the add ons I have
collected with the frane rate stutter. I've installed the scenery and
planes etc.

BUT I can't find the manual for the PMDG. Most things have now come back to
memory after a few hours fiddling about, hardest thing was finding the
hidden TO/GA click.

However, I have forgotten the significance of CMD A CMD B CWS A and CWS B.
Can any body give me a quick run down one these?

Try the PMDG web site, spcifically the Downloads section under
Documentation. http://www.precisionmanuals.com/downloads/type.asp?iType=19
Oh, and the manuals should be a pdf file that is installed and accessible
from the Start - Programs menu.

Thanks for that, never noticed the manuals in the start menu.

Also picked up the info required in the downloads section. (more info than
I really needed, there are so many options!)

CMD A = left seat Auto Pilot on/off
CMD B = right seat Auto Pilot on/off

CWS A = left seat Control Wheel Steering on/off

CWS B = right seat Control Wheel Steering on/off

Control Wheel Steering allows you to steer the aircraft while the Auto
Pilot maintains your cruise altitude and speed.
It's a good thing to have when you need to avoid a collision with something
or if you're flying a very long holding pattern.

Thanks Marcel. Although I understood from the previous post what CWS did, I
couldn't understand what it was for if you see what I mean. I have always
flown holds etc by changing the heading in the autopilot rather than with
the yoke, but I will give it a try later.
