i just built a new machine here are the specs

Asus A8n sli mobo
amd 64 3500+
1gb(2x512) Corsair xms pc3200
Evga 6800gs Superclocked 490 cor 1100 mem
WD raptor 36 gb 10k rpm sata
Sony dvd rom(i dont do much buring) :p
Coolermaster Centerion case.

I bought this power supply cause i plan up buying another 6800gs from evga, another 1gb set from corsair and mayber another raptor hd, has anyone used this PS, its worked wonderful so far. Just wanted to get some input on it, from what i read the ps should be able to handle the load when i upgrade.

I would consider that PSU to be shoddily rated. 500W PSU with only 18A on the 12V rail and 45A on the 5V rail. It may be able to supply 500W, but they've put the beef on the worng place - the 5V rail. I wonder who actually makes this PSU for them....

BTW, if you're planning on doing 6800GS SLI, then I recommend you take a look at a 7900GS/GT vs 6800GS in SLI. I think you will find that the single, less-expensive 7900 will outperform the 2 6800GS'. So far, it has always been better to get the single next generation card, then getting two last gen cards. It costs less and performs better...
