Hi,

I have a Palm V and is seriously considering buying a HP
iPAQ 4355. Does anyone know how I can transfer all my
data from Palm Pilot to the Pocket PC without beaming
records one by one?

What are my options and what do you recommend?

Your help is highly appreciated.

Thanks!

1. Install Outlook from the Pocket PC ActiveSYnc CD that comes with
it.
2. Install Pocket Mirror from your Palm V CD - it should be on there.
This will allow you to sync and populate your Outlook database with
your Palm data.
3. Install ActiveSync.
4. Sync. that will get everything to your PPC.

And if you don't have the CD or don't have the Palm anymore (so you can't
Hotsync one last time), use Chapura PocketCopy to copy data from Palm
Desktop directly into Microsoft Outlook.

Ahhh cool. Never heard of that. http://www.chapura.com/pocketcopy.php

$20, but I'd pay that in a heartbeat as a last resort before losing my
data in a switch. :-)
