PCI slot problem with KN8

I have this problem with the mobo KN8, when I put in my good old PCI Firewire, and then push the power button, the comp wont even start. But when I remove the card, the comp starts, I have tried all 3 PCI slots and change PSUs, the problem still presists, please help!!! BTW I'm using a Snazzy Firewire pci card.

I assume the card still works with your old system right?
Get a new card. They're dirt cheap anyway.
