Is there an on/off button near it that could have been hit? Just checking, as you never know sometimes. Rig up a wireless mouse for now and try to disable and then enable the device in device manager- it may "jolt" it into working. If that is a no go, go directly to asus's support website and see if they have any W7 drivers for your model.
