I am running a 2.8Ghz Pentium 4 Hyper Threading + 6600GT 128mb Nvidia Card +
1GB of DDRam and recently have been experiencing lowish frame rates usually
around 10-12 fps in lets say the Level D 767 or PDMG 737 around airports
rising to about 12-16 in the air. I am running also Radar contact 3 and
Active sky..... I thought I would check to see how much memory I was
committing and so opened the task manager while I was flying. To my surprise
I noticed that the cpu usuage was at 52% on the performance graph and would
not go any higher even if I flew into heavy scenery (all that happens is my
fps drops to 5-6)...and 43% came under System Idle.... so I am wondering if
there is something wrong in that FS2004 does not have access to the full
system?? Maybe this is why my framerates are not good.... most of my sliders
are in the middle......

Any ideas most appreciated?
