Hi, I am in the process of trying to set a VPN, I have managed to get
the the laptop connected to the main computer, but I can't access the
network, or see any files etc. Could any one give me any advice as to
where I am going wrong, or what I have to do, i.e do I have to use a
3rd party software to start accessing the main network? Thanks for any
suggestions in advance. Dave.........

If you going to connect to your main network from a remote location, then you need to download the connection software from the VPN manufacture's website.
