I'm planning on getting the following motherboard:
http://usa.asus.com/products4.aspx?l1=3&l2=15&l3=226&model=744&modelmenu=1

Now, I'm unfamiliar with what kind of power supply and/or cooling system I would have to buy along with it (since i'm sure nothing will come w/it).

Can someone recommend what I would need?

I plan on putting in it one of the latest amd chips 1k (retail.. should that come w/a heatsink or whatever)..

also will get a nvidia 9700gs vid card with 2g of memory....

Thanks!

Get an Antec TPII 550

Antec, OCZ, PC Power & Cooling, Seasonic, Silverstone, make great PSUs.

Good Luck!

I think linux_0 has covered the psu.

All the latest boxed AMD cpu's come with a good quality heasink, so no need to worry there.

I hope that graphics card is meant to be a 7900GS

That looks nice and it is even recommened under the certified SLI PSU's seen here: http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone2_build.html

However, I may be getting two 7900g's which means I should look at some other PSU's that supply more power (according to the link I supplied). Out of those they list, what would you all recommened?
