Hello all.

I am running a Toshiba E330 with a Toshiba Bluetooth SD card (version 2
apparently), and I am having trouble doing a number of things.

1. ActiveSync via BT.
I keep on getting an error message when trying to initiate an ActiveSync
connection that says... 'ActiveSync registration could not be performed.
Make connection registration in Bluetooth Setup utility.'
Now, I aint stupid, but where is the Bluetooth setup utility??
Does it mean on the PPC or on my PC?
But it doesn't make any difference, because I can't find anything which
mentions the above on either device!

2. Personal Area Networking.
I don't know for certain if the combo of my BT dongle, my BT SD card and the
E330 supports this (apparently some devices don't) but I get an option for
it on the BlueTooth menu of the E330.
When I do a search using the windows BT software, it finds no devices.

I've had ActiveSync working, but it stopped and I can't get it to go again.
I'm flummoxed, and the BlueTooth SD card handbook is no help, either.

1. ActiveSync via BT is problematic, as ActiveSync was never designed
with BT in mind, so you have to set it up as a COM port on your desktop
computer, and then set it up on your device (instructions vary
depending on the device, and I don't own an e330, so I can't help you
with device-specific instructions). Here are instructions for the iPAQ:

2. I've never used BT for PAN, sorry.
