squeal of death on x-fi?

sorry for posting again but i just read somewhere that some creative card have this thing called the squeal of death.
has anyone heard of this happening with the new x-fi cards
specifically the fatal1ty.

I am ashamed but a few years ago I was listening to Britney's <Hit me Baby One More Time> and .... suddenly my computer stopped playback, ejected CD and uttered to me in a shrill manner:
"Aaaarrgh, Man, Why Britney Again, Can't Handle Zis Anymore, I Am Dying Now"
and it died on me with a quick wet-fart-like bleep.
(I buried it in the garden, next to Rover's place )
