G5 mouse Stutters

I have a G5 mouse, and in certain games, and when alt tabbing, or opening programs it stutters once and a while. Its quite annoying especially during games. I installed my old mx510 mouse and it didn't stutter so I'm pretty sure its the mouse. Does anyone know a fix? I have the latest firmware and version of setpoint.
Is it something to do with the sensitivity setting or something? Please help me or direct me to a forum with the same problem.

It has to be the mouse. Have you tried it on different ports? It could also be the usb ports on your computer. Try it on another port cause the port is also responsible for the power of the mouse. It could be voltage too?

also, though the other one worked, the color white on a mousepad doesnt go good with optical mice.

not anything to do with USB port speeds like that crap "Hi-Speed" being faster then "Full Speed" in the bios?

Otherwise update drivers for mobo and mouse.
