Short and to the point, you can attain mind blowing surround sound by adding an additional 5.1 set of surround sound speakers to your existing setup.
If you're interested keep reading, if not have a great night Bye!
Follow this at your own risk, I'm presently running it with no problems what so ever, so I thought I'd share it with you all, but I'm not responsible for you blowing up your own personal computer, its just like OCing do it at your own risk.
By using 3 stereo 1/8" audio splitters, [each splitter has 1 male plug that goes to 2 Female Jacks], you can pick them up from Radio Shack, carefully whittle the insulation on the male plug of each splitter enough that the splitters can be plugged into your soundcard jacks.
Note: The soundcard jacks are too close together for any of the splitters I found to be able to be plugged in next to each other, thats why the whittling was necessary so the plugs could be plugged in without damaging the soundcard jacks, you may find some splitters from another source that will fit without being whittled down, but the Radio Shack splitters are gold plated and everything else I found wasn't, also the Radio Shack splitters are not the hard plastic that you can't whittle down.
After preparing the splitters they can be plugged into Front, Rear, and Center/Sub outputs of your soundcard which will give you the 6 jacks needed to run 2 sets of 5.1 surround sound speakers.
It doesn't necessarily have to be 5.1 but acquiring the amout of splitters for your particular situation.
Gives you gaming and DVD playback on your computer that rivals extremely high end systems and won't break the bank to accomplish it, the results are unbelievable.
Some stores like Walmart discount a line of speakers to get rid of them to clear the floor for the newer line and sometimes its a matter of being in the right place at the right time to get an extremely good speaker deal, I picked up a set of Logitech sealed box clearance that I'm using for my second set for $29.00 + tax.
