I just got the MSI 6200 w/TC and it has what is called D.O.T. and that is Dynamic Overclocking Technology and is susposed to overclock  from 2 - 10 % depending on the need. what i was wanting to know is what would be a safe speed to set at a all time speed or should i let the drivers control the video speed since it does it on demand.
BTW the core temp is at 46 and the shutdown temp is 130
here is a screen shot

yeh its fine if you overclock more, msi will still be oc'ing after you overclock so be carefull. i doubt youll have problems because msi reads the core temperature and overclocks according to how hot it is. Peace.

Mainly heat and artifacts. you can download coolbits for free and use it instead of DOT. It has a button you can push where it will find the max settings of your card. You can sometimes push it past that but I usually back mine down just a little from what it says are the max to be on the safe side.
