In other news, pitch black out, riding 85mph. Blow a fuse, lose all lights heading into a curve at night with no other light on the road except the stars. Scary, like Tom's gnarled hand from a bad experience with a weed wacker.
Apparently I blew out the Headlight fuse (20amp) and when I inserted a 25amp fuse, it blew out a 30amp fuse.
I went home over lunch, replaced the main fure (30) and the headlight (20). Everything runs and is working fine now.
Its been over 3 months since I've done any electrical work on the bike and what I did, I made sure to tape up and leave nothing exposed. When I spliced into a wire, I used wire taps to make a clean splice.
I'm told someone makes Breakers that plug into a fuse slot. That way you don't need to worry about carrying extra fuses.
Anyone familar with these?
Being the motoring aficonado that I am, I can surely tell you that Kawasaki motor corp does indeed manufacture breakers that fit into a fuse slot. [/excessively confident]
