Looking for a new and better forum

Forum Forum Feedback : TG Forumz - Other Discussions Looking for a new and better forum

Im tired of this forum... It seems that only a few people provide quality help (Wusy), and want to step up... While others are simply here wasting space and ruining threads with hi-jacking and really poor information sharing... Its nice cause we get allot of people... but the amount of lurkers and trolls are really bad.

Example: Some guy tried to say that Asus and Gigabyte where merging... even though NO reliable news sources had the information, nor did either Gigabyte and Asus.

Example: How many threads do you see fall apart into 10 different discussions all about different things

Example: How come no answers are really given anymore

Example: Why doesnt anyone provide confirmation to answers they give.

I havent been on here long... but it seems to me that TG Forumz isnt a very good place to help people, nor is it a good place to find help...

Anyone know of a better place? Is my experiance unique? What do you people think?

I ask because I have found it impossible to start a thread here that makes it past one page without highjackers, taking over threads or deteriate into flame wars. Because of this, Tomshardware forums is not a place for people who want advanced answers to advanced questions.

What is good about Tomshardware is that it is a perfect place to ask simple noob questions. And I like to help people; so I will continue to help people here.

Now... wait.... here comes Clueless with his damn 2 cents...

it will happen...

Trust me...

Then this thread will break down, and I will once again be left frustrated in a complete daze, without any answers or solutions... Please, for the love of God, just dont quote the man...

I'd just like to point out one thing I've noticed.

If you post in those high volume areas, CPU for example.. ya, that's like THEE place to be for most people. When you go and look into the other sections of the forums, Software for example, it's nice and quiet. You get real questions, with real answers (when applicable).

Search around the forum a bit more, post things in appropriate places, and help out (where applicable).
