QBasic 1.1

I have installed a Spanish version of Qbasic 1.1 on a 32 bit Windows 7 system and QBasic 1.1. works, including the along with its help file, but it will not detect the Spanish keyboard, so typing for example an equals sign will return a bracket on the screen. I have tried entering the necessary keyboard commands in autoexec.nt and config.nt files in the Windows/System32 but they have no effect. What can I do?
Thank you in advance for your help and comments.
Best wishes,

  1. I have found the solution by adding the following line to end of the autoexec.nt file in Windows/System32:

    kb16 sp

and now MS-DOS programmes recognize the Spanish keyboard
