I've come to notice that when you run an asynchronous RAM divider (such as 180/200 which is 9/10) that your Memory Write speed is faster, at least according to Sandra and Everest. If I run Asynch 9/10, put FSB to 285 and Memory is @ 256, than Write speeds are 7300MB/s, if I run Synch @ 262 FSB 1:1, I get 6800MB/s Write, My read speeds stay the same @ about 7700MB/s. Has anybody else noticed such a thing?

It was raised on most tech sites when they got their first Athlon 64 FX processors and started doing tests as they were unlocked and could configure them to taste.

Even normally, for memory sub-systems, writes are usually (read: almost always) faster than reads.

(That is part of the reason of that old thread where I tried to interview you) :p

Hope above helps.

Also (unrelated) you using PCI bus lock at 33.333 MHz ?, any luck OCing more ?

No, I'm not using PCI lock, as I can't really find it in my BIOS lol.

If you want to respectfully "interview" me for something, I'm game for that.

I'm @ 285x9 right now @ 1.392v w/ Memory @ 256 3-4-3-8 2.72v.
