Im getting a AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Socket 939 2.2GHz Dual Core Processor and a 1900XTX. Can anyone recommend a MoBo for me? Ive always stuck with asus and looking to spend around $150 Canadian. Also i wont be able to run DDR2 ram becauase AMD doesnt support it right?

thanks in advance!

The best board would be the 2nd gen A8R32-MVP but it is a bit more than your budget... ~ $180
There is a less expensive board still good tho, (i have one) 1st gen A8R-MVP ~ $110
the boards are very good quality with good overclocking potential, good onboard sound...

I happen to own an A8R32 with a dual core Opteron 170 and x1900xtx.
Works perfectly for me. Temps for the xpress3200 chipset are phenomenal. Considering I'm running a low noise slanted PC (that is, I'm running slightly higher temps in preference to a quiet PC) and my mobo is @ 38*C with my Opty @ 2.71 and x1900xtx @ stock (though I bought the accelero X2 cooler -- highly recommended). CPu idles @ 40C and 50 load.

I love my mobo but remember to use the latest bios, 311, I believe.
