Need Help on laptop drive

Have a compaq 1700T laptop with a bad CD RW drive. They seem to be real expensive. The model # is UJDA330. Is there different models that might fit or maybe a newer model.I have seen prices from 169.00 to 194.00. Thansk Bruce
