WFT is all the WTFs for? I mean, WTF dude, don't you read anything? Intel said they were gonna slash prices on all of their processors man. WFT dude! LOL

I dunno man, I guess Intel has started their prices slashing. Expect to see them all drop in prices.

They'll end up giving them away for free...and we all know why.....

bahh

i remeber when the AMD 64 3500+ was around 260$
they went down alot in prices

because the 920 is a 2.8ghz and the 830 is a 3.0ghz. DUH!
if a 930 was cheaper then an 830 then you could say WTF all u want and id agree, but come on mann, use a bit of logic.

Yep, expect all the 65 nm processors to drop in price dramatically over the next 6-8 weeks, 20 to 30% cuts are likely in my opinion. Intel is really driving the market hard to convert to dual core.

Also, AMD is raising prices on their X2 lines in a few weeks.

Food for thought :) ...

Yea....by about $5.

Well LoCkDoWN(capslock overkill)
The 920 is a 65Nm Processer and the 830 is a 90Nm Processer at this point They are Exactly the Same, and add the fact the 920 is at 2.8Ghz and the 830 is at 3.0Ghz gives the 830 gives it the lead. And now Considering that the 920 has the 2.8GHz 2X2Mb L2 cache and the 3.0Ghz has 2X1Mb L2 cache Consider those ponits the Processers are exactly the same. because the L2 cache in Pentiums increase to make up for speed disadvantages. And the only reason It seems to be cheaper is because Intel is letting its 65Nm processers be known and sold more then the older 90nm ones. Its basically a marketing tactic. They want to get rid of the 90nm and get into the 65nm sales and then when 90nm is gone from stores they can roll out the 45nm tring to clean out the then old 65nm.
Yup some and more thing explianed. this info from things logical!

WTF dude? 5 bucks is alot of money! Sheesh! Now I gotta go file bankruptcy just cause I bought a new AMD! WTF! LMAO

Just kidding of course ..

i have all rights to say wtf becasue a 4MB cache beats something with half the cache and 200Mhz faster

u can OC the 920 to 830 speeds but u dont get taht nice cache

It's not the 5 bucks that matters :) , it's that they appear to be choosing the non-Price war path.... interesting.

i like to see amd slashes their prices too. i want that opteron 165 to be 250$, lol.

Intel is at 65nm while amd currently is at 90nm. Intel has about 8 fabs with 5 using 65nm tool sets and another one already implementing the 45nm tool set.........One thing to have a great chip design another thing is to have the resources to pump them out at high volume with high margins......So that being said, intel will have to pump more chips out to keep their margins from dropping. Sounds to me like hector pocked at a polar bear with a toothpick.....we all know how irritated them sonsofbitches get.....runnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!

the way they make it , its cheaper ?

Intel is just going to keep dropping the crappy processers because they know everything they have out for sale is a worthless comparison. They will just flush everything they can clearout down the Consumer Toilet Poor NormalComsumers. Intel can afford to Give their crappy current generation processers away for free. Lols considering that Google is worth more than it now. And AMD isn't struggling to do anything, Its just that the Computer consumer isn't a very savvy buyer and buys anything Intel flushed down the Consumer Toilet.

AMD offered New Generation from the time that came out with my AMD 1700+ Until the latest FX-60. And after almost 1 Decade they finally realised that Intel can't make Processers for Shytt. So they basically took the FX-60 and some VIA features and put them togeather and added a 4Megabyte- L2 Cache and called it CONROE

Check this link cool eh? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Excited_state

We can use Unstable hydrogen Atoms to process the information and use Liquid Helium to Flow the information at light speeds. Yay aNd if these tecniques are used Next Millenium Computing will be comming out in Teraflops and petraflops on each Core :D
